I decided to come up with a specialty cocktail for Buster Keaton. As a bartender, I was upset to learn there wasn’t one for him. Charlie Chaplin has one, Jean Harlow has one, even Mary Pickford has one. Buster was a whiskey drinker so I used that as the main ingredient. I think he would’ve liked it. Happy Birthday Buster :)
1 oz Whiskey (Crown Royal)
1/2 oz Brandy (Christian Brothers)
1/2 oz Triple Sec (Grand Marnier, Cointreau)
Soda (Seltzer)
Garnish with Orange and Cherry
Serve over ice in an old fashion glass.
Instructions:
Fill glass with ice. Pour whiskey, brandy and triple sec. Top off with soda/seltzer water. Garnish with an orange and cherry.
The Buster Keaton Cocktail is a stiff drink especially for those who don’t drink whiskey. To make it more palpable for you tastes, you can add more soda/seltzer or add some grenadine to make it a bit sweeter.
